General Plastics is certified to ISO 9001:2015/AS9100D and purchases from ISO 9001 partners.
Proprietary processes – from formulation to product – deliver uniform thickness, constant density for the specified material, and enduring physical properties. Ongoing research and development allow us to continually introduce new materials and make our existing products even better. General Plastics’ chemists, customer service and design teams know exactly how our products perform, including their capabilities and limitations. So we’ll make sure you have the best-suited materials for your project.
IT’S WHAT WE DO: AMERICAN-MADE HIGH-STRENGTH, LIGHTWEIGHT SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR MANUFACTURING PROCESS.
LAST-A-FOAM rigid high-density foam products are cost-effective, versatile, strong and durable. We offer a wide spectrum of formulations, in multiple shapes and densities, to optimally align their distinct foam properties with your needs.
General Plastics' open-cell flexible polyurethane foams deliver efficiency while absorbing energy at a consistent, controlled rate. Our flexible foams can be used in series or in parallel to relieve static stress on flexible shock attenuation material or to break up resonance or change shock pulse frequencies.
Our flexible, semi-rigid foam products are flame-retardant, self-extinguishing and easily molded to your particular specifications. These durable integral-skin foams and honeycomb gap seals are used widely in aircraft flight decks and interiors.
