General Plastics to Highlight FR-3800 FST Aerospace Foam Core Series at NBAA’s Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition Nov 17 – 19

Leading high-density polyurethane foam supplier also featuring its build-to-print capabilities

TACOMA, Wash., Nov. 10, 2015 – General Plastics Manufacturing Company is exhibiting at the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA 2015) November 17th – 19th in Las Vegas, NV, Booth C13047. The company’s LAST-A-FOAM® FR-3800 FST/OSU compliant polyurethane foam core as well as its build-to-print capabilities for aerospace applications will take center stage at the National Business Aviation Association’s biggest event of the year.

LAST-A-FOAM® FR-3800 FST foam core complies with FAA flame and smoke regulations, aircraft manufacturer toxicity requirement, and with the Ohio State University (OSU) 65/65 heat release standard. It also complies with European Nation’s REACH regulation. This halogen-free polyurethane foam comes in a range of densities, from 3 to 40 pounds per cubic foot. It may be used in a variety of aerospace interior applications, which includes first class seating pods, ceiling and wall panels, lightweight flyaway parts and edge closeouts.

In addition to its line of composite core materials, General Plastics fabricates and machines custom-molded parts with its flame-retardant self-skinning flexible urethane foam material. It can scale production from small runs of specialty parts to ongoing, high-volume OEM and Tier 1 and Tier 2 parts programs.
