FR-7100 Multi-Use Core
Our FR-7100 Multi-Use Core product is extremely versatile and can be used in a variety of applications. It is a uniform polyurethane foam board that is easily finished or painted for low-cost core applications, hand-carved models, prototypes, industrial patterns, and composite layup tools below 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
This series is non-abrasive and can be machined with standard high-speed steel (HSS) cutting tools. It can also be cut cleanly with water jets and traditional wood-carving tools.
The FR-7100 series is ideal for applications that call for an economical, versatile, and dimensionally stable stock material. FR-7100 is frequently used as modeling foam and for tooling applications. This material meets the needs of mold and toolmakers because it is grain-free, easy to machine, and uniform in density throughout the block.
These products are also formulated to meet the demands of composite boat builders at competitive prices for above-water-line marine usage, including freezer insulation, fish boxes, interiors, seat mounting pads, steering wheel mountings, and decks.
