General Plastics Welcomes Three New Employees


We value passion at General Plastics. Curiosity, creativity and the ongoing pursuit of knowledge fuels our focus on innovation and continuous improvement. We believe in the importance of what we do, and with that we find it crucial to bring on board the best and most qualified employees we can find.

In November 2012 we brought on Alan Pagni Supervising Research and Development Chemist. In this capacity, Pagni supervises the company’s ChemLab projects, including the development of new products and the continuous improvement of existing products. He brings more than eight years of experience in the polyurethane products industry developing new products, improving manufacturing efficiencies and managing products through the commercialization process.

In December 2012, we hired Natalie Merrill Senior Research and Development Scientist. In this capacity, Merrill brings her expertise in formulating and developing performance plastics to creating new high-performance cellular plastics for the aerospace industry and other commercial markets. She holds more than a dozen U.S. patents and brings 14 years of laboratory, new product development, and commercialization experience to the General Plastics team.

In January 2013 we welcomed on board Jess Valler, as our new manufacturing engineer. He brings 18 years of engineering experience in multiple roles and industries to the polyurethane foam products innovator. In this role, he is responsible for optimizing the quality of General Plastics’ products and the efficiencies of its operations.

These great new additions to our company will allow us to bring our best to every project and to continue fulfilling our global customers’ needs.
