This Tooling Application Guide is our current best effort to make available what General Plastics has learned about using high-density rigid urethane foam and board products for tooling applications.
Encompassing applications in several industries, this Guide is intended to give users a starting point for developing their own techniques and methods for employing our high-quality, cost effective products in manufacturing processes.
We also give information on machining feeds-and-speeds, adhesive bonding, thermal characteristics, temperature resistance, and filling and sealing the several different grades of foam and tooling board products we make.
