Because of our in-house abilities and experience with machining foam materials, our finished-part pricing is very competitive with a customer’s part-manufacturing cost. We optimize use of materials to gain the lowest-cost possible in making machined parts. We use up-to-date CAD/CAM software and workstation technology to program our machinery for speedy and accurate part manufacture. CMM inspection is available to support part dimensional-accuracy needs. General Plastics' workers are also skilled in performing assembly operations, bonding, painting, and installing hardware and inserts, taking component parts to higher-assembly levels. We have an excellent group of subcontractors we can call upon to assist us with hardware, plating, finishing, and other operations outside our factory capabilities. They provide us with economical products and services to assure customers low-cost, one-stop shopping. Our internal quality system, based on aircraft/aerospace standards, is more than adequate to assure customers of top-grade results from our production facilities. Also, we are not limited to working solely with General Plastics Manufacturing Company materials.
