LAST-A-FOAMŪ FR-10100 foams are flame-retardant isocyanurate-based formulations with greater resistance to high-temperature conditions, with reduced flame-spread and smoke-development in potential fire-exposure applications.
LAST-A-FOAMŪ FR-10100 can be used at temperatures up to 350-400 degrees F and pressures to 100 psi, depending on the application (please ask for technical application assistance on these matters). Ideal for use in autoclave and hot-press applications, they can also be useful in pultrusion-core and resin-transfer molding applications with higher-temperature-curing resin systems.
Please note: This product is best used as core material for laminated composite-panel construction. It does not perform well in thick-cross-section applications, as in lay-up tooling for curing composite assemblies at high temperatures and pressures. For these applications, we recommend our FR-10720/FR-10730 Tooling Board products (see link at left).
LAST-A-FOAMŪ FR-10100 foams are produced in densities from 6 to 20 lbs/cubic foot, and offer the user another choice for core material in autoclave, hot press, and RTM/RIM applications where temperature and pressure requirements are above the limits of our other foam formulations.
