Green foam

General Plastics carries green commercial, high-density foam products. Our green content consists of a combination of post industrial, post consumer, and rapid renewable resources.

Green content can be found in General Plastics' LAST-A-FOAM^® FR-4500, FR-7100, and R-9300 foams. The percentage of green content varies with different product lines and densities. For example, the FR-4500 in the 6 lb density will save the equivalent of 32 water bottles from a landfill per sheet, whereas a 50 lb density saves the equivalent of 512 water bottles from a landfill per sheet.

Our bearing blocks can help support LEEDS certification with material that has up to 16% green content.
