This project was a design study for a toy manufacturer that led to the creation of the Fisher-Price "Egg-A-Saurs" toy. The industrial design firm that crafted these figures was tasked with inventing a farm-animal toy with interchangeable parts. As the concept proceeded through the product-development process, it was determined that a child’s fascination with dinosaurs offered more opportunities for creative play entertainment, and the farm-animal concept was scrapped in favor of a more dinosaur-flavored approach. Any way you look at it, these shapes are irresistible to adult and child alike. |
