These two photos show full-scale models of aircraft that have been constructed either partially or completely out of LAST-A-FOAM®‚ materials. In each case, the model-makers found bonding and finishing the materials to be very easy, and workability of the foam stock to be excellent.

In other projects (not shown here), full-scale mock-ups of the X-33 SSTO (Single Stage to Orbit) vehicle, and the F-22 fighter have been constructed with LAST-A-FOAM®‚ models or components. Some of these items have been used in actual in-flight testing as well.
