Washington Governor Christine Gregoire has selected the TCC & General Plastics Manufacturing Company partnership as a 2009 Workforce Development Best Practice for Washington State.

This dynamic partnership is one of five award winners that will be officially recognized at the Workforce and Economic Development Conference in Spokane, Washington on October 29, 2009.

General Plastics partnered with TCC to create a customized frontline management training program. From September 2008 to June 2009, TCC implemented a 9 month series of courses for 25 employees in management and leadership essentials to prepare them for advancement within the organization.

This program will ensure a strong succession of future leaders to guide the company in the ever changing global marketplace.
